There is something magical about a mama getting photographed with her kiddos. If your a mom, then you know, that you are often the one behind the camera capturing the many moments, smiles, laughter and tears of your littles. It’s not often that you get to be photographed capturing those same memories with them. I treasure those moments, weather its a selfie taken with my phone or weather I have hired a photographer to do it for me. Your kiddos will remember those moments with you. They won’t judge you for anything than what you are. You are their beautiful mama, with open arms, smiles and kisses. You are the… Keep Reading

There is nothing like a cold, rainy, December night that makes anyone wish for the long warm days of summer. This beautiful bride will make you wish that summer was just around the corner… If you have never thought about doing a bridal session you should. Its a great time to showcase just you! I love this vintage gown, headpiece and jewelry. The pendant is a stunning one of a kind piece, made of fossilized coral. Schools Out!
This guy just graduated high school a couple weeks ago. Ryan was so much fun to work with! He was up for anything. I asked him if he was secretly a model. He nailed every shot. Ryan is out heading out of state for college in the fall. And… Ryan wants to be a nurse. You know as a RN myself, I couldn’t have been more excited to hear that! Here is to your future Sir! Good luck and if you have any nurse questions… don’t hesitate to call! Till Next time… xoxo
Sacramento Fun
Sacramento has a lot of unique places, that are steeped in gold rush era history. “Old Sacramento” is one of those places. It is one of my favorite places to photograph because there are so many unique building, colors and alleyways. These kids were awesome! They put up with me running them back and forth across old town and kept me entertained the whole time! xoxo
Party of 3
Some of life’s biggest surprises are our children. They bring with them all of our hopes and joys for the future. The surprise is sometimes in their arrival, but mostly the surprise is watching them grow and figuring out whom they will become. Welcome to the world little one! And to you, beautiful mama, this image make my heart ache. It is love… tangible and real, captured forever through the lens. Till we meet again xoxo
Lucky Ducky
What happens when a wild duck decides to join your family session? Why you let him of course! You never know what fun creatures you will find on an outdoor session. Lizards? Yep! Deer? Double yep! Its always a bit of nature discovery. This little Mallard was a first for me though. Well, now that you’ve met the duck, meet the rest of this cool family. Katie is a lucky ducky herself. She has these 3 handsome fellas that keep her on her toes. Like any woman who has to contend with a house full of boys she is fierce and tough and strong. They are great qualities to have,… Keep Reading
3 Months
Babies are always so special. Twins are twice the fun… or twice the trouble. I would know. I am myself one half of a boy and girl twin set. These two cuties, Ky and Kennedy, are in fact my niece and nephew. These two in fact belong to my twin! ( Twins run in the family, we have 2 more sets of boy/girl twin cousins also.) So, enjoy these cute faces, I know I do!
The Writer
I had a really exciting opportunity to photograph Catherine, who wrote a really cool book and is now looking to be published. In her own words she says : Community 92 is a work of apocalyptic speculative fiction. It takes place in world that “could be,” on a day like tomorrow. Speculative fiction is a wide genre that has long been dominated by male-focused storytelling. However, apocalypse-themed speculative fiction for women is growing with works like Emily St. John Mandel’s Station Eleven, Edan Lepucki’s California, and Claire Vaye Watkin’s Gold Fame Citrus. In addition, Jean Hegland’s 1998 apocalypse-themed novel Into the Forest was recently developed into a movie (yay!) starring… Keep Reading
